At Trinity Lutheran, our life is centered in the good news of God’s never-ending love given to us in the life, teachings, death and resurrection of JESUS CHRIST.
Who We Are:
We are The Welcome Place, and truly All Are Welcome regardless of your past, or where you find yourself on the theological spectrum.
Trinity is a safe space. Here you can laugh, cry, sing, eat, pray, serve the greater community, and engage in intimate conversations with us about life and faith.
Trinity Lutheran is more than an historic church. We are a vibrant and diverse community of artists, intellectuals, musicians, and people passionate about God and our neighborhood. We are life-long Lutherans, and new to the Christian faith. We are wise seniors and curious children. We are single, partnered, married, widowed, straight, LGBTQ. We are native Astorians and people from around the world. Our worship, theology, and life together celebrate the abundance of God’s love!
We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the Metropolitan New York Synod (MNYS).
In all that we are, we try to live our mission promise:
“To Seek and Share God’s Grace Through Welcome, Worship & Work.”
