Bible Study
Note: The Thursday Morning bible studies will be on hiatus till the Spring.
Pastor Paul B. Milholland leads a Bible Study at Trinity every Thursday at 11am and Tuesday 7:00pm. Please bring your bible and plan to attend! We will be working through Genesis!
Food Pantry
The Trinity food pantry, a community food pantry serving needy families in the Astoria/Long Island City area, is looking for volunteers to help with packing canned goods in grocery bags and helping to distribute bags to those who stop by the church.
Distribution dates are twice a month on Fridays (6:30pm).
Sunday School
Christian Ledesma and Pastor Paul will be leading us to explore our faith with our children, no matter what age. Even parents with infants are encouraged to attend!
The idea is to have parents and children in class TOGETHER so that we can teach parents how to develop faith and nurture the spiritual life of their child or children. Since home is the primary place of learning, this new ministry will help to strengthen the home life. Activities will include learning songs, prayers, doing crafts, and celebrating significant milestones in a child's and family's life. What we learn in Young Family Sunday School will be reinforced by Pastor Paul in his Children's Sermons in church.
Trinity Playgroup
Open from Fall through the Spring, Trinity Playgroup is for young children and their parents. It's a chance for children to play together and parents to relax together over a cup of coffee.
Wednesdays, 3:30pm-5:00pm
Young Adults
Trinity's 20 and 30 somethings are currently planning to race the 13.1 NYC Half Marathon in March of 2012. Please see the Team Trinity Running Club information below.
Our Spiritual Life Team is currently in the planning stages for more fun, spiritual activities. Please contact Dan Burkey or Kendra Newton for more informtaion.
Trinity's Choir
Through most of the year, Trinity's Choir assembles every Sunday to lead the assembly in song. With one choir rehearsal during the week and one on Sunday morning, the opportunities are endless for those who wish to raise their voices to the Lord. There's no singing experience required to join!
Team Trinity: Running Club
Our Team Trinity runners have begun training for their half-marathon on March 24th, 2012. They are raising money for clean water projects in Africa. Currently, World Vision is completing a water pipeline in Kenya that will provide clean water for almost half a million people. Can you help make this a reality? Please click on http://support.worldvision.org/goto/teamtrinity to donate to World Vision on behalf of our runners. Please also keep Team Trinity runners in your prayers as they prepare for a long but inspiring race. If you have any questions or would like to join the team for a run, contact Christian Ledesma.
